Van Aldred, MD, obtained his medical degree at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He went to Jerusalem, Israel to participate in a fellowship in Ophthalmic Surgery at St. John’s Ophthalmic Hospital. Dr. Aldred also completed a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. He is board certified in ophthalmology. Some areas of interest include:
